The early days

2010 - 2015

Harm Weken, Frank Nienhaus and Edward Bongers were pioneers in the establishment of shared e-mobility in the Netherlands. Carsharing was far from an established measure in those days (2010 onwards) and with a the support of a plethora of Municipalities in the South of the Netherlands (Limburg) the foundation Stichting Limburg Elektrisch (SLE) was founded. This foundation committed itself to develop the ever-growing market of shared e-mobility and specifically the e-cars that municipalities had in use for their workforce. The sharing of these e-cars with external users was the start of the first EV-only ecosystem in the Netherlands. Hence for these endeavours an all-encompassing platform was needed and so the GoodMoovs ecosystem was developed from 2015 onwards.
